Within the insurance world, Aplaza links software systems of advisors with the extranets of insurers and service providers, making double data entry and various time-consuming administrative actions a thing of the past. Aplaza has grown into a platform that allows more than 1,300 intermediary firms to retrieve data from insurers, service providers and insurers every day. In 2021, the 47th provider was connected to this platform, including eleven software suppliers. Every year, almost 70 million documents, messages and transactions go through the Aplaza platform.

Platform renewal essential for security and growth ambitions

In order to continue to deliver these large volumes quickly and safely, Aplaza has asked AMIS to completely renew this platform. By using Microsoft Cloud and the Azure PaaS Services, a new messaging platform has been realized in short time and little effort while meeting the highest security requirements, is fully scalable and takes full advantage of functionality available by Microsoft "out of the box". This means that Aplaza is ready to fulfil its growth ambitions in the coming years with a brand new platform.

Aplaza's platform achieves a huge reduction in unnecessary actions. By securely linking software systems via this platform, we avoid employees no longer having to log in to portals to upload documents, copy data, or retype them. This makes the chance of making mistakes a lot smaller. It also saves a lot of time for employees and speeds up the turnaround time. That is nice for these offices and their customers.
