Gerrit-Jan Verbeek new director of healthcare consultancy D&A Conclusion

Ouvry will take up the role of Healthcare Client Director at Conclusion on 1 September. In this role, she will be taking a broader perspective of Conclusion's healthcare portfolio, to best serve clients with the range of expertise that the Conclusion companies have to offer. Ouvry: "The complementarity and cohesion of the healthcare businesses within Conclusion is tremendously strong. I see many opportunities to increase added value for our clients, by engaging with clients from a broader perspective. The role I get to take on at Conclusion gives me a lot of energy. I confidently pass the baton to Gerrit-Jan. His experience and personality are a good fit for the organization.” 

Leading a healthcare consultancy is right up Verbeek's alley

Verbeek has over 25 years of experience in healthcare. He started his career as a nurse and soon made the switch to the commercial side of healthcare. Verbeek held various positions within the pharmaceutical industry, at a pharmacy chain, a health insurer and medical centres. Among other positions, he held that of Medical Specialist Care Centre Manager and advisor to the Board of Directors at Meander Medical Centre Amersfoort. In 2022, Verbeek joined DC Klinieken as Director of Digital Care and IT, before making the move to D&A Conclusion. 

Verbeek: "The great thing about D&A is that they focus their entire consulting practice on healthcare, a complex industry with great social responsibility. Throughout my career, I have always worked in positions where I could make a difference for patients; that is what drives me. The phase D&A is currently in appeals to me. The organization became part of Conclusion three years ago and offers huge opportunities in terms of collaboration within the Conclusion ecosystem. The team I will be working with consists of true professionals. There is an immense amount of knowledge and expertise in-house. I am very much looking forward to working with colleagues to find the synergy between the companies, and I am glad that Ann will continue to play a major role in this regard as well.”
