AMIS Conclusion certified with TOGAF, ISO 27001 and NEN 7510
For AMIS Conclusion, IT certifications are not a paper formality, but a conscious investment in the quality, predictability and reliability of the services we provide. With certifications such as TOGAF, ISO 27001, NEN 7510 and ISAE 3402, we underline our role as a solid IT-partner for organizations in healthcare, government and financial services, among others. In this interview, we spoke to our CTO Patrick Stevens about the value of these certifications for employees and customers.

Certified collaboration: TOGAF as a foundation
An important part of the certification process revolves around TOGAF, the internationally recognized standard for enterprise architecture. Meanwhile, 9 professionals from AMIS Conclusion have been TOGAF certified.
The added value? A shared methodology that ensures consistent and scalable architectures, aligned with customers' business goals. "We have a lot of strong individuals," says Patrick. "But we also wanted to work and think at the same level across teams. TOGAF helps us to design solutions in a structured and strategic way."
TOGAF enables AMIS Conclusion to connect to existing customer architecture frameworks, for example integrations, data-intensive applications or cloud platforms. It avoids duplication of effort, increases transparency in choices and facilitates collaboration with customer teams.
Added value for the customer: substantiated choices and control
TOGAVE's methodical approach helps the professionals of AMIS Conclusion and its customers not only to build sustainable IT solutions, but also to make informed decisions. Patrick: "In the IT world, everyone has an opinion, especially when it comes to major issues such as ERP selections. We help clients to make choices transparent, substantiated and therefore negotiable. That gives peace of mind and creates support, also among managements."
He continues: "This way of working not only strengthens the substantive conversation, but also prevents technical debt and unnecessary costs. Customers get a grip on the architecture, dependencies and strategic impact of their choices."
ISO 27001 and NEN 7510: information security demonstrably in order
In addition to architecture, AMIS Conclusion also invests heavily in information security. With certifications such as ISO 27001 and NEN 7510, the organization meets the highest requirements for data security, essential for customers who work with privacy-sensitive information.
ISO 27001 confirms that we have a robust Information Security Management System (ISMS). It minimizes risks such as data breaches, cyberattacks, and unauthorized access. NEN 7510 offers additional security for healthcare institutions: patient data is processed and stored according to the strictest standards. Patrick: "Healthcare institutions and insurers place high demands on their suppliers. These certifications show that we meet them."
ISAE 3402: insight into processes and guarantees of continuity
The ISAE 3402 statement is especially important for clients in the financial sector and other highly regulated markets. It shows that AMIS Conclusion's internal processes have been independently audited and meet strict governance requirements.
This gives customers insight into how we control, monitor and guarantee our services. For organizations that undergo regular audits themselves, this is an important risk mitigation. Patrick explains: "Especially in a chain situation, such as with banks or government organizations, customers must be able to demonstrate that their suppliers also work safely and reliably. We take that worry off your hands."
Internal benefits: sharpness, connection and strategic focus
The TOGAF certification processes for AMIS Conclusion employees are voluntary. Yet the involvement is great. Participants sign up themselves, and once started, a healthy group dynamic is created. "It's tough," Patrick admits. "At TOGAF you have to understand and apply 1100 pages of material. But that is precisely what ensures mutual sharpness and knowledge sharing."
That effort pays off. Patrick says: "The certifications have increased the internal understanding of our reference architectures, and the willingness to continuously improve them has grown. If you understand why something is important, you can improve it. Otherwise, it will remain a document in the drawer."
Azure and Oracle certifications underscore cloud expertise
In addition to the business-related certifications, the professionals at AMIS Conclusion are also making great strides on a personal level. In the past 12 months, they have obtained more than 80 certificates. This includes certifications in the field of ITIL, Microsoft Azure, Data Engineering, AI, Solution Architect, IoT, Security, Oracle, Agile, Scrum Master and Product Owner.
Patrick says: "With the specialist certifications of our partners Oracle and Microsoft Azure, we show that we not only understand the tools of these suppliers, but can also apply them effectively in practice. This underlines our expertise in the field of cloud infrastructure, integration, data, data science, architecture and software engineering.
These certifications are not only a requirement within our partnerships with these two cloud providers; They are also a quality guarantee for our customers. They show that we use techniques and services in a correct, efficient and practical way. This allows us to reduce implementation time, save costs and ensure safety and governance."
Responsibility in the chain
Especially in sectors such as healthcare, government and finance, certifications are a precondition for being able to deliver at all. Laws and regulations oblige these organisations to demonstrate supply chain responsibility. Patrick: "With these certifications, we show that we understand and can handle that responsibility."
This is also important for technology partners such as Oracle and Microsoft. When AMIS Conclusion builds high-quality solutions on their platforms, it also reflects on them. "If we have our affairs in order, so do they," says Patrick. "It works both ways."
Ready for the future
In a time of increasing threat, growing compliance requirements and accelerating technological change, certifications offer certainty and trust. Not only for today, but also for tomorrow.
"With TOGAF we can deal with change methodically," says Patrick. "New technology means a new context. Our approach helps to understand that change, by translating it, and implementing it in a controlled manner. In this way, we avoid improvisation and work according to a well-thought-out plan."
For customers, AMIS Conclusion certifications are more than just a logo on a presentation. They are proof of quality, safety and strategic awareness. Patrick concludes: "When you work with us, you get solutions that are right, technically and organizationally. Privacy arranged, processes in order; We'll take care of it. That's what our certifications stand for!"
