Dirk Dekker, Manager Platform Services Post21 says: "My team is responsible for a mission-critical platform within ProRail. We provide the platforms on which the data for ProRail's thirteen traffic posts runs. This forms the basis for the safety and planning of traffic flows on the railway.
ProRail works with a timetable that looks a year and a half ahead. Every day it is loaded by traffic post, so that train dispatchers can compile the daily timetable and respond to outages and calamities.
