Port of Rotterdam selects Conclusion as new digital partner forwebsites and customer portals

The Port of Rotterdam has selected Conclusion as its new digital partner. The collaboration focuses on the management, further development and optimization of seven key websites and web applications, including the corporate website and a reservation tool for port users.

These websites and customer portals connect thousands of users to the port every day – from skippers and businesses to residents and public authorities. Following a successful tender, Netvlies (part of Conclusion) has completed the platform transition. In the coming years, the focus will be on scalability, data integration and digital security.

Tailored solutions on a global scale

The websites and portals handle millions of visits annually and support critical processes such as berth applications, permit requests and the sharing of expected arrival and departure times. The platform also facilitates Port Information Notices (PINs), including alerts on disruptions and severe weather. Given the port’s role in the Netherlands’ vital infrastructure, stringent information security requirements apply.

Designed for flexibility and security

Built on a modern modular architecture, the websites and portals allow for rapid adaptation to changing regulations or user needs. Netvlies (part of Conclusion) is responsible for their ongoing development and provides 24/7 support for business-critical components of the digital services. The digital agency also safeguards the security architecture, monitoring and compliance. This includes monthly security reports, proactive threat analyses and continuous optimization of protective measures.
