Implementation Oracle Forms to Oracle ADF at TIA

Oracle technological modernization to ADF

AMIS has supported TIA over a period of two years in the technological modernization of their insurance solution. The project consisted of a complete migration of the TIA solution from Oracle Forms to Oracle ADF 11g. The project was executed with close technical guidance by principal consultants of AMIS. TIA had contacted AMIS because of the international leading position AMIS has in the field of Fusion Middleware application development. AMIS has a profound reputation and track record in application modernization from Oracle Forms systems to Oracle ADF.

Support during whole application development lifecycle

The support of AMIS was focused on the migration of the TIA Solution from Oracle Forms to Oracle ADF. AMIS contributed to the project from day one by setting up the overall architecture and the TIA framework. This involved in-depth knowledge of ADF11g and consisted of on-site training, coaching and co development at the TIA office in Denmark. AMIS was able to guide and coach the own developers of TIA through the process of learning and using ADF 11g. This enabled the developers of TIA to do the main part of the migration themselves.

AMIS did a great job

During the total project six consultants of AMIS where committed in making the modernization of the TIA solution a success. The following expertises where involved in this assignment: Software Architecture, Oracle ADF, SOA, BPM, Continuous integration with Hudson and Java. The AMIS consultants worked alongside a team of 10-20 TIA resources and 8-14 other consultants.
